Sustainability

Our approach begins with the sustainability of the product and its components: we sought to design every element—and its entire production chain—with the goal of achieving maximum circularity throughout its lifecycle, from use to disposal.
The ultimate form of sustainability is doing nothing and consuming nothing. 😊 We strive to use natural, certified, and recyclable resources that have the lowest possible environmental impact. We have minimized transportation to reduce pollution and opted for local manufacturing—within Italy and Europe—conducted in full respect of workers' rights. We avoided production in locations where costs are lower but oversight of the supply chain and materials is compromised. That is why we are proud to have created a truly European product—conceived, designed, and manufactured in Italy. It is authentic "Made in Italy," where—as we shall see—the production process remains artisanal, far removed from mere "greenwashing."

The bottle

We commissioned a bottle design that is ergonomic, modern, and unisex, ensuring it is easy for both men and women to hold. Produced by an Italian company, it weighs just 100g; we avoided thick glass walls to minimize material usage while maximizing internal volume—expanding capacity from 68 ml to nearly 80 ml. The design draws inspiration from the iconic 1960s and 70s, eras defined by the social movements and revolutions that shaped modern society. The bottle is stable in any position and can even be used to play "Spin the Bottle" 😊—evoking fond memories of good times spent with friends in our youth. It features a screw-top finish, allowing it to be easily refilled with fragrance or simply dismantled for disposal by separating the plastic/aluminum pump from the glass bottle.

The pump

It is a state-of-the-art model: it contains no POM (polyoxymethylene plastic) and, being a screw-on type, it can be recycled separately; alternatively, it can be left on the bottle, as it is designed to be recycled along with the glass (though the feasibility of recycling it within the glass stream depends on local recycling facility capabilities).

The cup

Customized with the OOC logo, it is made of European wood handcrafted in Italy, with an interior made of recycled plastic.

Packaging

The box and all its components are made in Italy using FSC-certified recycled paper from Favini; cutting and printing take place at an FSC-certified facility. Any potential flaws or imperfections are therefore the result of choosing the highest level of sustainability—a mark of quality and respect. In the vast majority of cases, a luxury perfume box ends up being discarded after the product is opened.

The fragrance concentrates

These are produced in France according to our specifications and processed—macerated and bottled—in Italy.
